Founded by Eddie Maza, Maza Academics brings Ivy League expertise and a passion for teaching to every tutoring session. With degrees from Yale University and the University of Oxford, Eddie combines rigorous academic training with real-world teaching experience to help students excel.
As a former high school English teacher and current Princeton PhD candidate, Eddie understands both the academic journey and the challenges students face. This unique perspective allows for personalized instruction that builds confidence, sharpens critical thinking, and achieves results.
Eddie has completed The Writing Revolution's introductory training in The Hochman Method®, an explicit, sentence-level framework for teaching writing. It is why students leave with a repeatable process for building an argument rather than a single corrected draft.
